ELECTRICIAN GLENELG
Electrician in Glenelg. Character homes, units and short-stays.
The sparky behind the Glenelg reno in the review below.
Dave did all the electrical work on our reno in Glenelg and was great to deal with from start to finish. Knows his stuff and just gets the job done without any BS. Have passed his number on to many mates. Strongly recommend.
Glenelg has three kinds of homes. Each has its own electrical headache.
Character homes. Old villas and bungalows with wiring that's been added to for 80 years. Nobody knows what's behind the walls.
Units and apartments. Shared switchboards, strata rules and tight spaces. Access has to be planned.
Short-stay rentals. Guests check in Friday. If a light fails on Thursday night, it has to be fixed Friday morning.
What happens if you leave it
- Old wiring in a character home can be brittle and unsafe to touch in a reno.
- A fault in a short-stay means a bad review and a refund.
- Unit work done without checking strata can cost you twice.
