What are the smoke alarm rules for SA rentals?
They change from time to time. I check each property against the current SA rules and tell you plainly if something needs to change.
How often should alarms be checked?
At least once a year, and at every change of tenant. I can remind you when each property is due.
Do you replace old alarms?
Yes. If an alarm is past its expiry date or faulty, I replace it and note it on the record.
Can you do a whole rent roll at once?
Yes. Send the list and I'll work through it suburb by suburb.
